MOST FANATICAL FANS!!!

You guys are amazing. You gave us a memory to last for the rest of our lives.

Monday we were on the TONIGHT SHOW with Jay Leno. Ben Stiller was on the show with us. He is so funny. Hope we get to work with him someday. The performance was outside and the crowd was crazy.

We went from there to SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE where we filmed for the finale tomorrow night.

Tuesday we flew to New York and visited some friends at their concert at the Knitting Factory. They killed it. Saw a lot of friends.

We also released our new song, A LITTLE BIT LONGER, on ITunes. It was our fastest song to reach Number 1! Thanks again.

Today we had a BIG PRESS CONFERENCE concerning A LITTLE BIT LONGER and Nick’s DIABETES. We really hope that this will help make a difference in people’s lives.

Tonight’s show in Baltimore was unbelievable. So amazing to be able to sing our songs for all of you.

JB & St. Judes

Another blog update!!

Ohh these boys… They give back so much and care so much!  That’s why I love them!! ;)

ST. JUDES and CINCINNATI, OHIO
Category: Music

Hi everyone!

Today was a life changing day. We got up really really early and caught a flight to Memphis, TN where we visited the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. This facility is where children with cancer go for treatment. We met so many of the kids and they were so happy to see us. Thanks to all of you we were able to leave them a check for $10,000. We really hope we will be able to do more. The children were inspirations to all of us.

After we finished we flew to Cincinnati, OH for another concert. We performed for approx. 15,000 people. The place looked packed. There was so much excitement in the place. It is always fun to visit Ohio.

We drove all night and woke up here in Charlotte. We will visit some of our family here and then do a show tonight.

We are so excited about our new song coming out on ITunes last night. When we woke up this morning it was already at No. 13. Make sure you take a listen.

Next week will be the last song before the CD comes out on August 12th…

A LITTLE BIT LONGER

A 5 pound hershey’s bar with Jb’s face on it??? Imagine!!!

Here’s another great blog update from the boys…. I can’t stop thinking about that 5 pound bar though. Haha!

HERSHEY AND HARTFORD CONN!!!
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

The last few days have been amazing! We have been very busy.

We were in Hershey PA for the largest show of the summer. Over 30,000 people filled our first ever stadium show. Last summer we were in the park in front of 600 people in 2 shows. We simply could not believe our eyes (and ears). IT was unbelievable. There were so many people and they were all so excited. We heard that there were people there all day celebrating. They even had a tail gating party. They gave us each a 5 pound chocolate bar with our pics on it. They told us that they had only done that for us and the Rolling Stones. Pretty unbelievable.

Last night we were in Hartford, Conn. We still remember our first sell out ever was in HArtford (there were 100 people in the club). Last night there were 21,000. It is so crazy! It was one of the loudest crowds of the summer.

Today is a day off THEN we will leave tomorrow to visit a hospital for kids with serious illness. Then we are off to OHIO for shows.

Don’t forget about MTV Video Music Awards voting and Teen Choice Awards.

ALSO…

Don’t forget to let your radio station know about BURNIN’ UP!!!! Let them know that you want to hear it.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…

On Tuesday we will be releasing our next track on ITunes. We will put out the song TONIGHT. It is a upbeat song about a troubled relationship. It is one of our favorites in the current tour. Please sign up for the Jonas Brothers Podcast if you are not signed up yet.

Thanks and Keep Checking in,

JB

JB in Indy! (blog update)

ROLLING THROUGH INDY
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

What a day! We started the day with a press conference. We actually have a group of press showing up on specific days while we are on tour. Today was special because we were able to give a donation from the Jonas Brothers’ Change For the Children Foundation to the UN Nothing But Nets charity that provides protective nets for children in Africa to protect them from possible Malaria. Check out changeforthechildren.org for details of how you can help.

After the press conference we went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and rode in the cars around the speedway. It was so fast but so fun.

The concert was electric. There were almost 19,000 people there. It feels like the show gets better each night. We really can’t wait to see all of you while we are out on tour.

Yesterday was big because our ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE COVER came out. You can get it now on stands everywhere. WE are so honored to be on the cover and have an article in Rolling Stones. Hope you like it.

Don’t forget the special things that are coming up in the next few weeks:

Oprah with JB (re-airing today), Teen Choice Awards (Don’t forget to vote), Tonight Show, Good Morning Amercia, Regis and Kelly, other TV specials, ITUNES releases 2 more songs on the next 2 Tuesdays (TONIGHT and A LITTLE BIT LONGER)…

and of course…

AUGUST 12TH - Release of our new CD - A Little Bit Longer!!!!!

There is so much happening. You will hear about everything here.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND FNMTV
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

Sorry we have not been able to write. It has been crazy busy for the last few days. We spent a few days in Northern California doing shows in San Jose, Sacramento, and San Francisco. All of the shows were amazing. During one of the shows we were attacked by bugs. There were bugs everywhere. In Sacramento the mayor proclaimed it Jonas Brothers Day! That was really cool. We did a special event for Radio Disney in Sacramento as well.

Last night we were on the first live broadcast of FNMTV (Friday Night MTV). We performed BURNIN’ UP. We had a great time. It was really hard to hear over all the screaming.

We also announced that we are the 1st act booked to perform on the MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards). How cool i s that?

Then we went to the Roxy in LA to show our support to Demi Lovato. She did an amazing job.

Later we went to the House of Blues and saw Rooney (from our WYLMITEs tour). Great to hear them again and hang out!

Hope you have a great day and keep checking in

A JB fan pours her heart out…

I just wanted to share this caller. She tells JB how much she would love to meet them and how much they’ve inspired her. I thought it was so sweet how she poured her heart out telling them how much she loves them and she even dedicated a song to them and serenades them. :)

Fan message to JB

CONGRATULATIONS TO JOE!!

He has finally completed high schoo! WAY TO GO JOE!!! :D
http://www.oceanup.com/oceanup/2008/07/joe-jonas-gradu.html#more

Before an LA taping of FNMTV on Friday, Kevin Jonas announced, ‘A big congratulations to Joe. He just graduated from high school. It happened yesterday so it’s a big deal.’

Joe, who took correspondence courses while touring, said he was relieved to have sent in his last high school assignment
on Thursday. ‘I haven’t heard from the school yet. But I’m officially done with the work and played a concert to celebrate.’

Jonas Brothers also confirmed they will perform at their first MTV Video Music Awards in September. Kevin said, ‘It’s pretty amazing. You grow up watching the VMAs. You know the performances, you see the pictures in every magazine.’

They plan to perform the second single from their new album
A Little Bit Longer
, for the first time on live TV at the VMAs. Nick said, ‘It’s going to be an exciting performance. We’re going to involve the fans in it.’

JB in San Jose

It always amazes me how wonderful they are to their fans. They really do care about us. I just love these boys so much! :D

SAN JOSE CONCERT
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

The day started for us in LA with a conference call with press. We spent time answering questions from press from all over the nation.

Then we flew up to San Jose for our concert. The venue was really cool. It looked like a giant sail boat. The venue could hold over 20,000 people.

The crowd was amazing! They were with us from the very first note. We gave away 4 tickets to the front row. People were so excited and the girls that got the tickets were so happy.

We found out that there was a girl that celebrating her sweet sixteenth birthday who ended up in the medics office. Not the way to spend your 16th Birthday. So we had her meet us backstage after she got out and took some pictures. She was very sweet.

There were fans waiting for us at our hotel in San Francisco. Always amazes us to see people that are willing to wait outside of a hotel or concert for us.

This morning we are being interviewed by 20/20.

Chevy is Rocking the Road with the Jonas Brothers!

The Jonas Brothers are spending the summer learning about what Chevy’s doing to help the environment.

It’s going to be a summer of having fun and thinking green with all of you and Chevy.

Helping the environment is something The Jonas Brothers take very seriously, and so does Chevy. They’ve got a bunch of sweet vehicles that are easier on the environment, including eight models that get over 30 miles-per-gallon1.

And, the Chevy Tahoe Hybrid was named Green Car of the Year® by the Green Car Journal2. The Jonas Brothers want America to know more about Chevy’s Gas-friendly to Gas-free vehicles, that’s why they’re helping rock the road this summer on the Burnin’ Up Tour.

Here’s how you can join! Head over to disney. com/rocktheroad and sign-up to become part of the Chevy Green Team Jonas. If you’re under 13, you’ll need your parent’s permission.

When you sign-up, you’ll get access to exclusive Tour Diary videos, footage from the live shows and tips for helping the environment.

But that’s not all! Do you want the Jonas Brothers to come to your house?!

How about a brand new 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid – America’s first full-sized hybrid SUV# for your family?

How’d you like to have the Jonas Brothers hand-deliver an autographed copy of their new CD, “A Little Bit Longer”, to your doorstep?

Visit www. disney. com/rocktheroad and enter* for your chance to win! You could have the Jonas Brothers in your house and a Tahoe Hybrid in the driveway!

You must be 18 or older to enter, so if you’re under 18, go grab your parents to sign up for you.

They might just win a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid !

JB’s Anaheim show… simply AMAZING!!

Hi guys… Ok here’s another JB blog update, but before that let me just say that I went last night to see them in Anaheim and the guys just blew the roof off that place!!  The energy was just so amazing throughout the whole venue. My friend and I had floor seats and we ended up getting moved over to a different section because of the filming, but we still had awesome seats. We saw Mr. Jonas walk right by us and in back of him was Taylor Swift and her crew. It was fantastic. I know I just saw the guys twice and met them once, but I’ll be in be in a withdrawal soon.

They’re just so addictive that I wish I could see them in concert every day!!  Haha. Also don’t forget to dl their new song “Pushing me away” on iTunes today!!  It’s fantastic!! Ok now for the boys’ blog update. Enjoy. ;)

2 SHOWS IN ANAHEIM & A 3D MOVIE
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

WOW!!! The last 2 days were truly amazing. We had 2 shows in Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center (formerly called The Pond). We have played here before as a support act but this is the first time as a headliner.

WE also filmed our 3D Movie, which will be released to theaters early next year. Our crew for the movie was amazing! Some of the people who worked on the movie have worked on the Rolling Stones live movie, U2’s 3D Movie and the Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers movie. Most of the people were thrilled and told us that they captured some of the best 3D Concert footage ever. We cannot wait to see it and show it to you.

The crowds were amazing and cheered us on for 2 days straight. They never got tired. They gave us the strength to give everything we have.

ALSO…

TODAY OUR NEW SONG, PUSHING ME AWAY, IS AVAILABLE AT ITUNES!!!!!

Go quickly and purchase your copy of the song. Also, you will want to sign up for our PODCAST on ITunes if you have not done that already.

Thanks for all the support & Keep checking in

My JB experience

Ok so I went ahead and blogged it on myspace, but here it is again for those of you who don’t have one. DUN DUN DUN!!!

So my day started with a fire… yeah ok that’s not really part of meeting JB, but I thought it would make the story more interesting and also I thought it was a bit ironic esp. since I was going to see their “Burnin’ Up show”…. get it?? Anywhoo my neighbor’s house was on fire, and luckily the fire dept. came on time and put it out…. the end. Ok now getting back to JB.

So I get to the venue and met up with fellow Jonas Angel, Janet *shout out* (What’s up girl?? Thank you for keeping me calm as I would spazz here and there lol) and a friend of hers whose name I didn’t catch. (sorry! ) Anywhoo we got our m&g bracelets and headed off to the line to go inside the venue. So we finally got in and went into a private part of the venue and waited in line what felt to get our turn. Luckily we met some cool girls there who were really chatty with us. They had won a Radio Disney contest and were really cheerful and had us laughing the whole time. We told them about the SayNow line and some of them said they had heard of it and would call all the time. They even told us the types of msgs they’d leave on there which sounded really amusing. So anywhoo, finally the time had arrived.  We reached JB. There they were in all their glory smiling and taking pix. My jaw was literally on the floor and I started shaking. Yes I’m a dork (I know that’s what you were thinking!!

So Janet and her friend go first and then there was moi. So big Rob is standing there and he turns to me and says “Hey how you doing, baby?” and he gives me a high five. Haha. So I truthfully answer, “Hi, I’m good, but nervous!!” Haha. So then this guy asks for my camera and I give it to him without turning it on so he reminds me to do so… (Duh me!) Hah! So then the moment of truth finally happens….

I walk up to Kevin (and let me tell you… the boy is gorgeous!!) and he so cheerily says to me “Hi how are you, thank you for coming!” and gives me a great hug (and yes HE DOES GIVE THE BEST HUGS HAHA!) I’m surprised I just didn’t melt right there and fall to his feet. I actually managed to say “Hi my name is Marisol!” and then as I went to hug Nick I told him how I help monitor their SayNow phone messages. So as I was going to give Nick a handshake, he leans in for a hug so when I see that I stepped up fast to hug him and I stepped on his foot while I hugged him. I backed away still holding onto him and said “Oh I’m sorry!!” and he just laughed. (that was my “Joe” moment lol) So then I went up to Joe and did the same thing minus the foot stepping. Hehe. I was going to give him a handshake and he was waiting for a hug with his arms open so he saw my hand out and laughed when I said”OHHH” and  then I hugged him. They all seemed to get a small kick out of me going in for a handshake first. I was trying to act civilized in case I looked like a madwoman dashing in for a hug. Hehe.
Ok, so then Kevin told me he had done a new saynow message that day so I told him I’d be sure to hear it when I had a chance.

Then it was picture time and we took our pic. Once my pic was done I turned to Kevin and I gave him a 2nd hug (MUAHAHAHA!) and said thank you. He gave a little chuckle and said “Aw thank you!” I had to do it one more time. His hugs are like Lays potato chips.. “you can’t just have one.” (Or is it “once you pop you can’t stop?” wait, maybe that’s not it lol ok fine I’m not sure which motto it is to that, but ya’ll know what I mean! Hehe.)

Now the concert was off the hook!!!  I must admit, I cried during “A little bit longer” I just couldn’t help myself. I was so emotional at that point and seeing Nick pour his heart out started the waterworks going. Oh also, I couldn’t believe how much pyro was used. Ok I won’t say much since alot of people haven’t been to theirs yet and don’t want their surprises ruined, but just be prepared for a fantabulous show! You won’t be disappointed at all!!
Anywhoo, that was my experience. Hope you enjoyed your reading. If not then… I’d give you a cookie to compensate, but I ran out.. sorry. :)

JB IN CALIFORNIA!!!

Hi everyone!  Ok so I’m back home and yes I promise to post my experience along w/ my pic, but I will as soon as my friend wakes up and does it for me. LOL  My computer’s evil so I have to use hers to upload pix. Hehe. Anywhoo in the meantime I leave you with JB’s blog. Enjoy! ;)

P.S. I SO LOVE THOSE BOYS EVEN MORE… IF THAT’S EVEN POSSIBLE!! :D

OUR FIRST CALIFORNIA SHOW OF THIS TOUR
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

Today we started our day with a photo shoot for a magazine cover (we will not tell you which magazine till later). We are so excited for this one to come out.

Then we went to the venue in Irvine. We had played this amphitheater for KISS LA’s Wango Tango Radio show. It is so awesome to be back in CA and doing our own show at a venue like this. We watched as people came in to the lawn seats. They were running to get center positions at the front of the lawn.It was like watching a sea of people coming together.

Tonight was an amazing show. Tonight there was almost 450 people in the meet and greet.

Everything in the show worked perfectly. The crowd was amazing!

SUNDAY IN ANAHEIM IS THE FILMING OF OUR 3D MOVIE. We will be filming Sunday and Monday. We really hope all goes well. We have a few surprises!

Thanks for all your support

JB in Arizona!

Another blog update! Yay!!

ARIZONA IS HOT
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

Today we had a show in Phoenix, Arizona. It was good to go back. We lived in Arizona for almost 2 years. Joe was actually born here.

The first thing we did when we landed in Arizona was go see our Grandparents. Our Grandfather just got out of the hospital. So glad he is doing better. He was still not able to come see us but we were glad we were able to go see him.

It was SO hot in Phoenix today. We had a large meet and greet and stood outside for a long time greeting almost 400 people.

One of the groups we met were the Titans Softball Team. They were there even though they had a tragedy this week. Their friend, Mackenzie Diixon, a 13 year old girl, died this week in an ATV accident. She was planning to come to our concert with her entire team. One of the girls was wearing the handmade shirt that she had made to wear at the concert. We gave the entire team seats at the front of the venue and dedicated the song “A Little Bit Longer” to her. It was sad but hopefully they were encouraged.

The show was so much fun. The placed was so full. It was a sea of people. Can’t wait to go back again.

Tomorrow were are back in CA for 3 shows (Irvine, and 2 shows in Anaheim).

FUN IN TEXAS
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

Hope you are all doing well. We are so excited. We are taking today off to golf and relax with friends.

Yesterday we had a great concert in Dallas, Texas. The crowd was amazing. We met the Attorney General of the State of Texas, saw friends we have known since we were small, had a great radio interview with our friends at KISS in DALLAS, and had one really great show.

Demi was in her home town for this stop of the tour and she did an amazing job. She blew people away with all of her abilities (she plays piano, guitar and sings!!)

The crowd is Dallas was one of the loudest yet. There was one moment in the show where we had to wait for such a long time to start singing again because the crowd was so excited. Our Mom was able to see the show for the first time and said that it blew her away. She said the most amazing part of the show was the flips and light show.

We are so proud of this show. The stage is amazing. There are so many surprises. We really hope we will see you while we are out on tour.

THINGS ARE GREAT IN OK
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

Tonight was an awesome show in Oklahoma. Our crew spent the entire day working on the show to make it perfect. Everything went so well. It was awesome from the first note.

The crowd was amazing and stood through the entire show. It was our first arena of this tour. Most of our shows this summer are in amphitheaters, which is so cool for summer concerts.

Tonight we chose 4 people from the very last section of the arena to come forward to the front row. It was so great to see the look on their faces as they got closer and closer to the front row.

We are so glad that we are able to perform for our fans every night. They make this so much fun.

We can’t wait to see all of you at one of the dates this summer. Get your tickets quick…they are going fast.

Summerfest!

And here’s a  JB blog to go along with Amanda’s pic! ;)

SUMMERFEST!!! THANKS FOR THE LOVE
Category: Music

Hey everyone!

Last night was amazing! We were the final show at SUMMERFEST in Milwaukee. We have heard of Summerfest over the years because they say it is the biggest summer music festival in the US. It was CRAZY!

We arrived early and there were tons of people there. By the time the show started there were over 24,000 people in the venue. This is our biggest paid ticket event up to this point. The crowd was so loud and excited.

The morning of the show we read a comment on our MySpace page. There was a girl named Alli who was coming for her Sweet 16th Birthday. We asked our Dad to go out and give her seat upgrades. Her and a friend moved up to the front section.

Then we sent someone up to the LAWN SEATS. These people are unbelievable. We wanted to try to do something special for one of them. Someone told us that people had been camping out to get the best spots on the lawn. So we chose 2 girls and brought them from the lawn seats to the front. Always wanted to do that! The crowd (and especially the girls) were going crazy.

We will be keeping our eyes out for other ways to bless some people this summer. Keep those comments coming.

Demi came out and rocked the place. Everyone loved her.

I don’t know if we have ever heard a scream that loud before.

After the show we pulled out with our bus and drove by thousands of fans screaming and running at the bus. It was insane.

Every day we live our dream. Thank you all for making it happen.
